Number four, their sexual behavior may change. Sex may increase. New sexual positions may be introduced—almost like they’re experimenting or preparing for their new supply.

Or, quite the opposite, they may start withholding sex permanently.

You might notice: suddenly they want a new position, suddenly they want sex more often—when before, it was nothing. Suddenly the behavior changes.

At that point, you wonder, “Is it because they’re into me? Did they finally wake up to the truth and realize they need to pay attention?”

Or is something else going on?

Before you investigate what else might be happening, they manipulate you. They love-bomb you so much that you start thinking maybe they’ve changed. The trauma bond becomes stronger, and you’re fooled into believing the relationship is better again.

But the truth is: they’re using you to practice and prepare for their new supply. They’re demanding more sex to seem appealing, to charm someone else, and to give their new partner the kind of sexual experience they’ve never had before—so that person falls for them.

And once they’ve “practiced enough,” they start withholding again.

That’s when you begin to question what happened.
Did I do something wrong?
Is it me who changed?
What’s going on?

When you try to confront them, they blame you. They claim you’re no longer sexually appealing—maybe you gained weight, maybe your appearance changed, maybe you have flaws and “that’s why I stopped.”

When the truth is, they’re into the new person now and they don’t care about you anymore. They used you as an object. That’s why objectification happened—and now they’ve left because you’re no longer useful to them.
