What do narcissists do when they’re left alone? How do they “fill” their supply? We all know they can’t stand their miserable selves—so how do they keep going? What activities do they indulge in?
One: They jump into the sea of social media to hunt for supply
They’ll jump into the sea of social media and try to hunt down a lot of supply the moment they are left alone. The moment they see everybody is gone, they get excited. The excitement is about the possibilities they haven’t explored yet.
They slide into DMs with random people and try to be flirtatious—or try to love-bomb them. Maybe they might trade pictures with them… you know what type of pictures I mean.
They may also leave comments on random people’s posts—on Instagram, on YouTube, wherever possible, whenever possible. They’re very glad to do it.
If a narcissist isn’t into that kind of sexual fuel, then they may randomly argue with people for no reason at all—because they love the hit they get from it. The sky is the limit when it comes to a narcissist roaming the vast realm of social media: they can hook up with random people, call escorts, and do all sorts of bizarre and unacceptable things they would never do in your presence.
They can only do it in isolation because they have to save their image. They have to make everybody think, “Oh, they’re really pious. They’re loyal. They’re an amazing person.”
But the moment you are gone—out of sight, out of mind—that fake loyalty is washed away. And then they become totally immoral, crossing every limit and every boundary they’re supposed to follow.
